We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our clinical operations, support team development, and uphold our commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.
Position Summary
The Clinical Director is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing clinical operations, providing advanced-level patient care, supervising clinical staff, and collaborating with administrative leadership to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and maintains the highest standards of clinical excellence. This role requires expertise in pelvic health physical therapy, a strong leadership presence, and the ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care
- Provide direct patient care with a focus on pelvic health physical therapy, including treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy/postpartum conditions, chronic pelvic pain, bowel/bladder disorders, and related diagnoses.
- Serve as the clinical expert and resource for complex cases, treatment planning, and best practices.
- Ensure all clinical services follow evidence-based guidelines and meet state and professional standards.
Staff Management & Development
- Supervise, mentor, and support physical therapists, assistants, and clinical support staff.
- Lead clinical onboarding, skills development, continuing education initiatives, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative team culture centered on communication, professional growth, and exceptional patient care.
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily clinic flow, scheduling optimization, and caseload management.
- Collaborate with administrative leadership on budgeting, compliance, staffing, productivity goals, and resource allocation.
- Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance & Program Development
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
- Expand and refine pelvic health service offerings, including specialty programs, workshops, and community outreach.
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations, HIPAA standards, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) required.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist licensure (or eligibility).
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in pelvic floor physical therapy.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or program management experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced pelvic health training (Herman & Wallace, APTA CAPP, or equivalent) required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
