Job Description:

We are looking for an empathetic Radiation Therapist to be part of our oncology team at our nationally renowned, leading cancer treatment cancer treatment facility in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. You will specialize in the planning and execution of radiotherapy treatments. To be successful in this role, you must work closely with patients and provide support to them throughout the process by determining their needs, answering questions, and providing the best medical care possible.

Responsibilities:

• Immobilize and simulate treatment fields provided by treatment planning and Radiation Oncologist instructions.  
• Perform radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of Radiation Oncologist.  
• Prepares room and provides education to patients.  
• Review and maintain patient charts and keep accurate patient records. 
• Maintain continuing education requirements. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Training in AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy.
• Radiologic Technologist Certification by the American Registry within acceptable date of hire.
• Two years experience preferred. Will consider all levels.
• Proficient in the use of medical imaging equipment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to empathize with patients while remaining professional.
