Job Title: Mobile Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray / EKG)
Job Summary
The Mobile Radiologic Technologist provides on-site diagnostic imaging services, including mobile X-ray and EKG (as applicable), to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated locations. This role requires independent work, technical proficiency with portable imaging equipment, and professional interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process diagnostic X-ray examinations using portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
- Transport, unload, and maneuver portable X-ray equipment into facilities and patient locations.
- Produce clinically diagnostic, technically accurate images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Transmit completed X-ray exams to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Perform EKG examinations as required and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Accurately scan and submit exam-related documentation and billing paperwork on a daily basis.
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and management regarding scheduling, workflow, and issues.
- Interact professionally and effectively with patients, facility staff, peers, and supervisory personnel.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and imaging equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

- Regularly push and pull portable X-ray equipment weighing approximately 50–100 pounds.
- Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys reduces lifting force during loading and unloading.
- When maneuvering equipment within facilities or homes, force requirements may increase.
- Up to 50 pounds of force (or more) may be required 16–24 times per day.
