Job Title: Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Mobile Wound Care

Location: Greater Phoenix Area (Mobile / Community-Based – Travel Required)

Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours per Week

Compensation: $40 per hour

Reports To: Clinical Director / Owner

Position Summary

The Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled mobile wound care services to patients in their homes and other community-based settings. The LPN will work independently, managing patient scheduling and travel, while delivering consistent, high-quality care. Training will be provided for Mist Ultrasound treatments.

Schedule & Work Structure

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Workdays will be every other day, either:
• Monday / Wednesday / Friday, or
• Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday
• Schedule may alternate week to week
• Start times and daily scheduling are flexible
• Nurse will independently schedule patients within assigned days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services including dressing changes and compression wrap application
• Administer Mist Ultrasound treatments (training provided)
• Perform wound assessments, measurements, and documentation
• Visit 3–4 patients per day, with extensive driving throughout the Greater Phoenix Area
• Spend approximately 30–45 minutes per patient in the home
• Monitor for signs of infection or complications and report changes promptly
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of wound dressing changes and compression therapy
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a mobile role

Preferred Qualifications

• Wound care or home health experience
• Willingness to learn new wound care modalities
• Experience with mobile or electronic documentation systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and reposition patients as needed
• Ability to transport medical supplies and equipment
