Registered Nurse – Pediatric CICU

Location: Houston, Texas

Shifts Opened: Nights: 7pm-7am OR 11pm-11am

$4.00 Nights Diff/ $2.00 Wkends

up to $65.10 Base Hourly Rate

Up to $30,000 Sign on bonus

Up to $10,000 Relocation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, focusing on critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and/or post-surgical care
• Develop, implement, modify, evaluate, and document individualized, family-centered, holistic care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families
• Participate in unit initiatives and quality improvement projects
• Incorporate patient and family education into all aspects of nursing practice



Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred (or enrollment with completion within 24 months)
• Minimum 1 year recent Pediatric ICU experience in an acute care hospital
• CCRN certification preferred
