Registered Nurse (RN)_Med/Surg Dept

• $25k for experienced RN's (Only need 1+ yrs of critical care/bedside experience)
• $20K for new Grad RN's
• Day & Night Shift Available

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing interventions. This role promotes safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate service while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support holistic patient care needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional presence and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, physicians, and colleagues
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using medical history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to age-specific and holistic patient needs
• Deliver nursing interventions aligned with established standards of practice and physician-directed care plans
• Conduct hourly patient rounding to promote safety, comfort, and timely response to patient needs
• Promote a caring, respectful, and compassionate care environment for patients and families
• Utilize appropriate safety equipment and infection control practices to protect patients and staff
• Follow evidence-based protocols for central lines, urinary catheters, pressure injury prevention, ventilator care (as applicable), fall prevention, and restraint use
• Support departmental operations and serve in charge nurse or clinical leadership roles as assigned (with appropriate advanced life support certification)
• Precept and mentor new nursing staff to support clinical development and team success
• Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and quality improvement programs
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Zero to less than one year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license verified through the state licensure authority
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Resuscitative Certification appropriate to the patient population required for charge or clinical leadership roles
• Specialty nursing certification preferred
