Registered Nurses provide comprehensive, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care delivery and the achievement of optimal patient outcomes. Nurses maintain professional standards while effectively communicating with patients, families, and care teams, delivering individualized care across a wide range of clinical conditions.

Registered Nurses are accountable for actively participating in performance improvement initiatives, committees, and organizational surveys, while consistently adhering to the standards outlined in the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Surgical Services Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care within the Operating Room, Gastroenterology Lab, and other perioperative settings, serving diverse patient populations.

• Minimum Education
• Associate's Degree 
• Minimum Work Experience
• 1 year RN Relative Experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications
• Registered Nurse
• CPR-BCLS
• Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities
