Now Hiring: Director of Benefits (Hybrid) – Houston, TX

Are you a strategic benefits leader ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? We’re seeking a Director of Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and administration of comprehensive benefits programs for a dynamic, multi-divisional healthcare organization.

Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid)

Must be willing to relocate or currently reside in the Houston area

Industry: Healthcare (Required)

What You’ll Do

• Lead the strategy, design, and execution of employee benefits programs
• Oversee administration of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness plans
• Ensure full compliance with IRS, ERISA, and healthcare regulations
• Manage relationships with consultants, brokers, and trustees
• Drive innovation in benefits offerings and wellness initiatives
• Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive experience managing benefits operations
• Strong background in healthcare or complex, multi-entity organizations
• Deep expertise in:
• Health & welfare plans
• Retirement plans (401k, 403b, pension, non-qualified)
• Compliance (COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, healthcare reform)
• Experience with HRIS systems
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Professional certifications such as CEBS or CBP are a plus
