PHYSICAL THERAPIST SUPERVISOR

We are recruiting a Physical Therapy Supervisor for a well-established acute care hospital in the Las Vegas area. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Physical Therapist who is ready to combine hands-on clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities.

 

The Physical Therapy Supervisor will help support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services while providing clinical guidance to the therapy team. The role will also evaluate and treat patients with a variety of medical and functional needs, with a focus on improving mobility, safety, independence, and overall function.

 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced PT who enjoys patient care but is also interested in taking on greater responsibility within a hospital rehabilitation department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to Physical Therapy staff.
  • Help promote consistent, high-quality patient care and adherence to departmental standards.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for therapists and assist with complex patient-care situations.
  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations to identify mobility limitations and functional needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, gait, transfers, and functional independence.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and changing medical needs.
  • Educate patients and families regarding mobility, safety, assistive devices, and continued recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Support effective communication and coordination within the rehabilitation department.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to department initiatives involving patient safety, quality of care, and rehabilitation services.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Nevada Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain Nevada licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • 2+ years of progressive Physical Therapy experience.
  • Hospital, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or other medically complex patient-care experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, lead therapist, or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide guidance and support to other rehabilitation professionals.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
