Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Fredericksburg, VA

Schedule: Full-Time (Days & Nights, Rotating Weekends)

The Role

As a Respiratory Therapist here, you are more than a technician; you are a clinical guide for patients during their most vulnerable moments. You will manage complex ventilation systems and perform critical diagnostic procedures in a high-tech environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Clinical Evaluation: Conduct focused respiratory assessments, monitoring breath sounds and airway health to tailor patient care plans.
• Advanced Therapeutics: Execute evidence-based treatments, including oxygen administration and airway clearance, in acute and critical care settings.
• Ventilation Oversight: Lead the initiation and adjustment of invasive and non-invasive ventilation; assist with airway placements and emergency response.
• Team Integration: Act as a subject matter expert for nurses and physicians, provide family education, and support neonatal stabilization efforts.
• Operational Safety: Manage the calibration and sterilization of equipment while ensuring strict adherence to infection-control protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Credentials: Valid State License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Certification: Must hold or obtain BCLS/CPR certification within 30 days of start date.
• Education: Completion of an Associate Degree or an accredited Vocational/Certificate program.
• Experience: Open to new graduates looking to launch their careers in a supportive environment.
