Position Summary

The Laboratory Supervisor oversees daily lab operations, ensuring accurate and timely test results while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role leads staff and supports high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across lab departments
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of testing
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission standards
• Oversee quality control and troubleshoot issues
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support patient care
• Manage lab inventory and equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (required)
• ASCP (MLS/MT) certification (required)
• 3–5 years of lab experience; leadership experience preferred

Schedule & Environment

• Full-time; may include evenings, weekends, or on-call
