Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | One Friday per month, 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Compensation: $45–$48/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Perform a variety of dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and adjunctive treatments as needed.

Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices, including brushing, flossing, nutrition, plaque control, and preventive care.

Collaborate with the Dental Team: Work closely with the doctor and team members to assess patient needs and support individualized treatment plans.

Patient Comfort & Communication: Foster a welcoming and comfortable patient experience while building strong relationships and encouraging healthy habits.

Maintain Clinical Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, procedures, and interactions in a timely manner.

Infection Control & Safety: Follow established infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Manage Patient Flow: Maintain an efficient schedule of 8–12 patients per day while delivering high-quality care.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active state dental hygiene license in good standing
• Prior hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, service-oriented approach
• Commitment to high standards of care and continued professional growth
