Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Full-Time

Location: Alamogordo, NM

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing healthcare team in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This is a full-time opportunity with a variety of scheduling options available, including day, evening, weekday, weekend, and rotating shifts depending on department needs.

Opportunities are available in multiple healthcare settings, including:

• Urgent Care
• Outpatient Clinic
• Hospital

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment while delivering exceptional care and support to providers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Assist physicians, nurses, and providers with patient care
• Perform routine clinical and administrative duties
• Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate medical records
• Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are clean and properly stocked
• Follow all HIPAA, safety, and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Previous experience in urgent care, clinic, or hospital settings is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required upon hire
