Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic liaison between operational leadership and the Human Resources department. In this role, you will partner across HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver value-added service to leadership and staff, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals and strategies. The HRBP provides data-driven insights and hands-on support regarding workforce planning, employee relations, and various strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights: Partner with Senior HRBPs to analyze workforce data, assess trends, perform root-cause analysis, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted consultant to leaders and employees on HR-related issues, best practices, company policies, and employment law. Assist leadership with identifying, planning, and implementing workforce objectives aligned with company strategy.
- Employee Relations: Assist with conducting thorough investigations and advise leadership on employee relations matters to ensure fair and consistent resolution.
- Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEO/AA, FLSA) as well as healthcare regulatory requirements (TJC, CMS, OSHA, etc.).
- Project & Program Management: Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new HR programs, projects, and organizational initiatives.
- Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks including pulling and generating reports, data entry, tracking HR metrics, and drafting professional correspondence.
Scope of Work & Decision Making
- Autonomy: Exercises independent judgment in solving non-routine, complex problems under general supervision.
- Working Relationships: Collaborates frequently with senior leadership (Director level and above), internal healthcare professionals, corporate staff, and external stakeholders.
Position Requirements
Required Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Licensure: Valid State Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and proof of active vehicle liability insurance meeting standard company guidelines for occasional travel.

- Communication: Fluent in English with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Analytics: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of using data to drive recommendations.
- Organization & Execution: Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, maintain high attention to detail, and meet strict deadlines.
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare operational environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough, working knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard HRIS software.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
