Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Hospice Sales Liaison


A growing hospice organization is seeking a compassionate, relationship-driven Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Liaison to join its expanding team in the Tucson market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospice professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and enjoys building strong relationships within hospitals and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong hospice background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to connect with patients, families, referral sources, and healthcare professionals while helping guide patients through the hospice transition process.


Schedule & Territory

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Schedule includes rotating Saturdays and Sundays
  • Territory: Tucson


Position Overview

The RN Clinical Hospice Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, medical facilities, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals throughout the territory. This role combines clinical expertise, relationship-building, and community outreach to support patient admissions and drive hospice census growth. The Clinical Liaison serves as a trusted hospice resource to referral partners, patients, and families by educating them on hospice philosophy, eligibility, and services.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, and healthcare providers
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to referral sources to increase awareness and preference for hospice services
  • Identify new referral opportunities and support agency census growth goals
  • Educate patients, families, and referral partners on hospice philosophy, services, and eligibility criteria
  • Coordinate and facilitate hospice admissions and obtain consents for care
  • Serve as a clinical resource for referral partners and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and operational leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Promote hospice services in a professional and compassionate manner that reflects the organization’s commitment to quality care
  • Maintain ongoing communication with referral sources to strengthen long-term partnerships


Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Strong hospice background required
  • Minimum one (1) year of healthcare sales, liaison, or marketing experience preferred
  • Hospice or palliative care marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain referral relationships within hospitals and healthcare systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of hospice eligibility, philosophy, and care coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field preferred
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required
