A premier national ambulatory surgery platform is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Surgery Center Administrator. This multi-site leadership role provides operational and financial oversight for two established multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in the Southwest region.
Both state-of-the-art facilities are accredited by the AAAHC, feature physician-ownership models, and specialize heavily in Pain Management.
- Facility 1: Features 4 Operating Rooms (ORs) and 2 Procedure Rooms (PRs).
- Facility 2: Features 2 Operating Rooms (ORs).

Job Summary
The Regional Administrator provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple ambulatory surgery facilities. You will be responsible for day-to-day facility operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Regional Administrator collaborates closely with facility leadership, medical staff, governing boards, and the corporate home office to support consistent, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational & Financial Oversight: Drive daily facility operations and financial performance across multiple ASCs in partnership with local administrators and governing boards.
- Budgeting & Fiscal Management: Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets; monitor financial metrics and proactively mitigate operational risks.
- Physician Relations: Foster strong partnerships with physicians, oversee credentialing processes, and manage medical staff relations.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure full compliance with regulatory, accreditation (AAAHC), quality, and patient safety standards.
- Leadership Development: Lead, mentor, and develop facility leadership teams; oversee workforce planning, recruiting, and performance management.
- Strategic Growth: Partner with the corporate office on operational reviews, financial reporting, and identifying opportunities for service line expansion.
- Contract Management: Oversee vendor, service, and physician contracts to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred: Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or MSN).
Experience
- ASC Leadership: Proven leadership experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) OR strong hospital surgical leadership experience with direct ASC exposure.
- Management History: Minimum of three (3) years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience.
- Financial Acumen: Direct experience fully managing a P&L budget and meeting/exceeding financial targets in a healthcare setting.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated success working closely with physicians, clinical leadership, and governing boards.
Skills & Physical Demands
- Strong multi-site communication, organizational, and executive leadership skills.
- Ability to balance and prioritize competing operational demands across multiple facilities.
- Comfort working in both professional office and clinical environments.
- Physical mobility to move throughout multiple facility campuses as needed.
