Responsibilities

As the CVOR Nurse Manager, you will:

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate all nursing and departmental operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of CVOR nurses and support staff.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, professional, and organizational standards.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary leadership to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• BSN
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous Nurse Manager experience
• Recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Preferred

• MSN
• Experience leading a high-volume cardiovascular surgical program
• Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and operational performance metrics
