Salary: $30 / Hour - $46 / Hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care in an acute clinical setting. In this role, you will practice independently, manage complex patient needs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will utilize the full nursing process to deliver routine and specialized interventions, delegate clinical tasks effectively, and support long-range patient care goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Perform thorough patient assessments, establish nursing diagnoses, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and continuously evaluate outcomes according to professional nursing standards.
- Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer medications, blood products, and therapeutic treatments following established clinical protocols; systematically monitor for efficacy, adverse reactions, and side effects.
- Complex Patient Support: Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Clinical Delegation & Coordination: Make appropriate shift assignments and delegate tasks to clinical support staff to ensure optimal unit workflow and patient safety.
- EMR Documentation: Maintain precise, timely, and compliant documentation of patient history, vital signs, clinical status, medications, and treatments rendered.
- Patient & Family Education: Assess learning barriers, provide tailored health education to patients and caregivers, and connect families with appropriate care resources.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care clinical experience in a related specialty preferred (New-grad residency graduates welcomed).
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice or compact/multi-state RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred depending on unit placement.
