Salary: $95k / Year - $115k / Year
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy services to help patients improve mobility, restore function, manage pain, and regain independence.
The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, enjoys working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, and is committed to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis, needs, and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
- Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, exercises, safety, injury prevention, and ongoing care.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, gait training, balance, and functional activities.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable professional, state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. DPT
- Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
- Experience working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, surgery, illness, or other conditions affecting mobility and function.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient rehabilitation, or acute care is a plus.
