Nurse Practitioner – Hybrid Flexible Schedule M – F

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a full-time Nurse Practitioner role where you'll make a real difference for patients in skilled nursing and post-acute care settings across the Burlington, NC area. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of NPs and PAs, with comprehensive training, shadowing, and Medical Director oversight so you're set up to succeed from day one.

Schedule & pay

• $120,000 - $135,000 per year
• Monday - Friday, day shift
• Flexible start and stop times
• Full-time, permanent

What you'll do

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, appropriate care for your assigned patient population
• Communicate with nursing staff, collaborating physicians, and the Director of Nursing on patient care
• Round on patients, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and coordinate therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures
• Document daily visit notes in the EMR in a timely manner (dictation services available)
• Maintain accurate records of professional services, including billing reports, claims, and correspondence
• Provide additional services as needed under organizational and facility policies and regulations

What you'll bring

• Active Nurse Practitioner license (required)
• DEA certification (required)
• One year of NP experience preferred
• Nursing background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, or General Practice preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy, compassion, and a strong patient-service mindset
• Self-motivated, flexible, collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
