JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

We are recruiting for an outgoing, motivated Community Relations Representative to join an established and growing hospice organization in Rapid City, SD.

We are looking for a true go-getter! Someone who loves meeting new people, opening doors, developing business, and building lasting relationships throughout the community.

This is an opportunity to combine your sales and networking talents with a meaningful mission, helping patients and families connect with compassionate end-of-life care.

What You'll Do

• Proactively develop relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, senior living communities, and other referral partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the organization's referral network.
• Get out into the community, make connections, and establish yourself as a trusted resource.
• Educate healthcare professionals and families about hospice and palliative care services.
• Generate referrals through consistent outreach, relationship development, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to support a positive patient and family experience.
• Track outreach activities, referral trends, and business development results.

• Proven experience in sales, business development, networking, or referral generation.
• A self-starter with a hunter mentality who enjoys pursuing new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Confidence, persistence, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Experience in healthcare sales, real estate, outside sales, or other relationship-driven industries is encouraged.
• Hospice experience is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
