Position Overview

Join a hospital pharmacy team providing safe, accurate medication services overnight. This role focuses on order verification, medication dispensing, sterile compounding, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, interactions, and appropriate dosing.
• Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures and other sterile products.
• Provide medication guidance and drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient profiles for allergies, contraindications, and potential medication-related issues.
• Support medication inventory, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy safety initiatives.
• Maintain sterile compounding standards and established pharmacy procedures.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in New York.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and clinical judgment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred: Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency.
