Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

An established pediatric private practice in Lake Charles, LA is looking for a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative team full-time. You'll care for children and families in a supportive clinic with modern facilities and real room for professional growth.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child exams, immunizations, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
• Take detailed patient histories and perform physical exams and diagnostic assessments
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans with physicians and other providers
• Educate and support families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Keep accurate, timely patient records in line with clinic policy and regulatory standards
• Take part in community outreach and health education programs

What You Bring

• Current Louisiana licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
• PNP certification through PNCB or ANCC
• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program
• 2+ years of pediatric healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A team-oriented, patient-centered approach

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, permanent
• Day shift, Monday-Friday clinic hours with shared, rotating weekend coverage
