Job Summary:
Are you a compassionate and skilled medical professional with a passion for caring for the tiniest patients? We are seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join our healthcare team and provide expert care to newborns in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
As a Neonatologist, you will play a vital role in the care and treatment of premature and critically ill infants. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and treating neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, infections, congenital anomalies, and other medical issues.
- Providing care to premature infants, low birth weight babies, and infants with complex medical needs.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Performing medical procedures such as intubation, surfactant administration, and umbilical catheter placement when necessary.
- Offering support and guidance to parents and families, explaining medical conditions and treatment options in a compassionate and understandable manner.
- Participating in rounds, case conferences, and medical education activities to stay current with the latest advances in neonatal medicine.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics and fellowship training in Neonatology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- State medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make critical medical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to infants and their families.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
