Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Diagnostic Imaging to lead our imaging department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of diagnostic imaging services, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving departmental growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Diagnostic Imaging department.
• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and resource management.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor a team of imaging professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to optimize patient care and service delivery.
• Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, implementing improvement initiatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of CT or X-ray leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage resources, and personnel effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
