SHIFT: Days: 7am-3pm/ Mids: 3pm-11pm/ Evenings 11:00pm-7am

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Manager of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse Manager of Neonatal Intensive Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NICU, ensuring excellent clinical care, team collaboration, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role is ideal for a dedicated nursing leader who is passionate about neonatal care and has a strong commitment to advancing outcomes for our smallest patients.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to the NICU nursing team. Ensure optimal staffing and scheduling to meet patient care needs.
  • Develop and maintain high standards of clinical care in line with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment through professional development opportunities, performance evaluations, and recognition programs.
  • Partner with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently.
  • Champion patient- and family-centered care, supporting families through the NICU journey.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of acute care experience in NICU management.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in State of practice.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required; CCRN (Neonatal) or Nurse Executive certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Knowledge of neonatal conditions, therapies, and technologies.
