Registered Nurse – Cardiac Medical

REGISTERED NURSE - CARDIAC MEDICAL

LOCATION: Spokane, WA

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent, Days, 12-hour shifts

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Medical Unit. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a positive and healing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the nursing process.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on post-hospital care, cardiac conditions, and lifestyle modifications.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and nursing standards of practice.

Job Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License – must be current and active upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association – required upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association – required within 90 days of hire.
• 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience with a patient population similar to the Cardiac Medical Unit, or successful completion of a facility-based specialty residency program.
