Med Surg RN with Sign on Bonus up to $15K

Position: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Location: Panama City, FL

Shifts Available: Days or Nights

Status: Full Time

You’ll join a collaborative, skilled team of nurses and providers dedicated to delivering top-tier care across the region.

🩺 What You’ll Do

As a valued Med-Surg RN, you will:

• Provide direct patient care in alignment with established protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
• Use strong critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Deliver excellent communication and customer service
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide safe care requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, and patient movement/lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1 (occasionally 7:1)

🎓 Qualifications

✔ Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification

✔ Active RN license (FL or multistate compact—compact must obtain FL within 60 days of relocation)

✔ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

✔ ACUTE CARE RN experience required

• Must be within the last 3 years OR
• If the nurse has many years of RN experience, acute care experience may be within the last 5 years
• ✔ Strong critical-thinking and decision-making abilities
• ✔ Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment
