Position: Travel Primary Care Attending Physician

Schedule: Full-Time

Salary: $275,000 - $325,000 / year

Position Overview

i4 Search Group is supporting a search for a full-time Travel Primary Care Physician to deliver on-site care at skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the Charlotte, NC region, alongside providing telehealth primary care services. This role combines direct clinical care with quality management initiatives to optimize senior care.

Key Responsibilities

• In-Person & Virtual Care: Travel to provide on-site care at long-term care facilities; conduct virtual assessments and manage chronic/acute conditions via telehealth.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate medical records.
• Quality Management: Support compliance audits, clinical evaluations, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and quality improvement processes.
