Outpatient Orthopedic & Sports Clinic
Full Time : Permanent , Days- Monday- Friday ( no nights or weekend shifts required)!
Overview
Join a busy, team-oriented outpatient rehab clinic that treats a broad mix of patients — from post-operative athletes to total joint rehab.
We prioritize one-on-one, 40-minute treatment sessions and clinician work-life balance (no nights or weekend shifts required).
Mentorship is available for newer clinicians and the clinic works closely with on-site orthopedic surgeons for coordinated pre-/post-op care.

Position Summary
The PTA works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on patient care and progress treatment plans. Responsibilities include implementing selected interventions, collecting outcome data, adjusting treatments for safety/comfort, and documenting care in accordance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties at the level of the PT aide and PTA as assigned.
- Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT (therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual techniques, airway clearance, integumentary care, use of modalities, gait and assistive device training, etc.).
- Collect clinical measures and assist with evaluations, goal setting, and treatment planning.
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home programs.
- Organize and lead treatment groups when appropriate.
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation per professional and state standards.
- Maintain and report equipment needs; assist with clinic upkeep.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and quality improvement activities.
- Adhere to professional ethics, HIPAA, and facility policies.
Education, Licensure & Certifications
- Associate degree from an accredited program required.
- Current PTA licensure (must have passed the National Physical Therapy Exam).
- CPR certification required.
- Maintain required continuing education units for state licensure.
Skills & Abilities
- Able to meet physical demands: frequent lifting, bending, squatting, and prolonged standing.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; patient, professional, collaborative.
- Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
