Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be crucial in supporting the optometric practice by assisting with patient care, performing preliminary eye exams, and managing medical records. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist optometrists during eye examinations by preparing patients and conducting preliminary tests.
• Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including visual acuity, tonometry, and retinal imaging.
• Educate patients on contact lens care, eyewear options, and post-examination instructions.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and equipment following aseptic techniques.

Requirements:

• 1 year (Preferred)
• Certified (Required)
